Best NFL Prop Bets and Same Game Parlays Today: How to Bet on Touchdowns and Yards

NFL games are some of the most exciting events in sports betting. While most fans focus on the spread or moneyline, there’s a world of value in prop bets — like anytime touchdown scorers, player yardage totals, or receptions.

Today, I’ll share my favorite strategies for picking winning NFL prop bets — and show you how to build a same-game parlay that could turn $100 into $1,500.

There are plenty of ways to bet on an NFL game, but some of the most popular props include anytime touchdown scorers, rushing yards over/under, receptions, etc. But you can also pair some of these props together to get an even higher payout. The more props you place into your ticket, the better odds you get, which leads to a bigger payout.

Same Game Parlay NFL Examples

One prop bet I like to play on NFL Sundays is the anytime touchdown bet.  I usually will target one guy from each game, and throw them into one big bet. It’s a fun way to bet a low dollar amount, but win big.

Another way to go is to pick one game, for example, the Week 1 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, you can do a same-game parlay for the game.

A good 4-leg parlay to place could be Jalen Hurts anytime rushing touchdown (-125), Saquon Barkley over 90 rushing yards (-180), A.J. Brown over 80 receiving yards (+120), and CeeDee Lamb anytime touchdown scorer (+140). Those odds now come out to be +1400, and a $100 bet pays out $1,500.

You can also combine these props with the game spread or moneyline — and even parlay props across multiple games, not just one

Final Tips: Smart NFL Prop Betting Strategies

Week 1 is tough to bet money lines and spreads, so do some research and build a fun parlay with some prop bets.

I like to look at the trends for that player against the specific opponent, how many players at their respective position have fared well over a 3-to-5 game span against that defense.  If the Dallas defense has given up 85 yards per game against running backs, I am likely going to bet on Barkley to have a big day against the Cowboys’ defense. If Dallas’ pass defense is struggling, lock in A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith to have big yardage, and maybe even play them as anytime touchdown scorers.

Another way to bet props is to see how the player has done against that opponent in his career. For example, in six career games against the Cowboys, A.J. Brown has caught for over 80 yards in three of them.

Brown did not hit it last time, but he did hit it in the two games before that and is due to have another great game against the Cowboys, making him a prime target to play in your opening night prop bet.

Who is hot right now and what the best matchups are is the best way to go when looking for football prop bets

Prop bets bring a whole new level of excitement to NFL Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. They offer great value, but also require smart betting and research. Look at trends, matchups, and past performance. Most importantly, bet responsibly and enjoy the ride. A single good read could turn your $5 to $20 bet into a big win.
