The newest online casino in New Jersey is Vegas Club Casino, which went live publicly on July 22, 2026, after Betinia and Ember arrived in June and Resorts World in April. Those four are the only genuinely new NJ online casinos of 2026. Most other “new” names in the state are rebrands of sites that have been running for years.
Every brand below is licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) and operates under an Atlantic City casino. You must be 21 and physically in New Jersey to play.

The class of 2026: four new casino sites
Vegas Club Casino
Vegas Club is the newest casino in the state. It comes from G2 Digital, a company founded by Greg Carlin, who previously co-founded Rush Street Interactive, the company behind BetRivers. It operates through a market-access deal with Caesars, on a platform from White Hat Gaming. It first reported revenue to the DGE in June 2026, and the company announced the launch on July 22.
The pitch is simplicity: about 255 slots and 96 table games, built around floor favorites such as Lightning Link and Cash Eruption. The welcome offer is one of the cleanest in the state, with up to $250 of first-day losses back at 1x playthrough. The catch is the cashier, which takes only Visa, Mastercard and Trustly. Read our Vegas Club review.
Ember Casino
Ember is Delaware North’s new online casino brand. It runs on Playtech’s platform and also operates under Caesars’ license. Delaware North announced the launch on June 4, 2026, and plans to move its other markets from its Betly brand to Ember. Betly never ran an online casino in New Jersey, so here Ember is a new brand rather than a rename.
The lobby has more than 1,000 games, leaning on IGT, White Hat Studios and Light & Wonder titles such as Cleopatra and 88 Fortunes. Ember is the only 2026 newcomer with a sign-up bonus before you deposit: $20, followed by a match of up to $1,000 and 100 bonus spins. Deposits are limited to Visa, Mastercard and ACH. Read our Ember review.
Betinia
Betinia is Soft2Bet’s first US brand, run by Jersix LLC under Caesars’ license. It showed small amounts of revenue in DGE reports from early 2026 before its full launch in June, a common pattern for a soft launch. It combines a casino and sportsbook in one app.
Betinia is the most game-like casino in New Jersey, with daily claw-machine spin drops, a points shop and leaderboard tournaments. Its 110% match up to $1,100 is the biggest headline among the newcomers. It also has the heaviest terms: 20x on bonus money and 30x on spin winnings, within 14 days. Read our Betinia review.
Resorts World
Genting’s Resorts World brand went live in April 2026 under Ocean Casino Resort’s license, on a platform from Strive Gaming. It isn’t connected to Resorts Casino on the Boardwalk, which runs its own site. Resorts World has published little about its welcome offer, game lobby or cashier, so we haven’t reviewed it. It’s also the smallest brand in the market: it won $116,049 from players in August 2026.
Rebrands, not launches: theScore Bet and other renamed apps
Several names that appear on “new casino” lists are older sites with new branding:
- theScore Bet took over from ESPN Bet on December 1, 2025, with the casino moving into the theScore Bet app.
- Monopoly Casino replaced Virgin Casino in November 2024. Existing logins, balances and self-exclusion settings carried over.
- Stardust has been running since 2014, first as Pala Casino. It took the Stardust name in May 2023.
- Caesars Palace Online replaced the older Caesars Casino app in August 2023. Caesars has run an NJ online casino since 2013.
Brands also leave. 888casino exited New Jersey in June 2024, and PokerStars shut its standalone US platform on April 1, 2026, moving its poker to FanDuel.
What new casino apps offer instead of big game libraries
New casinos can’t compete on library size, so they compete on welcome terms and features. The 2026 class shows three approaches.
Low-wagering lossback. Vegas Club refunds first-day losses up to $250 at 1x. Lose $200 on day one, and the $200 credit is worth about $192 in cash after one pass through slots returning 96%.
A big match with heavy wagering. Betinia’s 110% match looks generous, but the math is less kind. A $100 deposit brings $110 in bonus money, and 20x means $2,200 in bets. At 96% RTP, you’d expect to lose about $88 along the way, leaving around $22 of value. See our NJ casino bonuses guide for the same math on every offer.
Money before you deposit. Ember’s $20 sign-up bonus lets you try the lobby first. No-deposit offers are rare in New Jersey; our no-deposit bonus guide lists the rest.
The trade-offs are just as consistent:
- Smaller lobbies. Vegas Club has a few hundred games, and Ember and Betinia have about 1,000 each. The market leaders list 2,000 or more.
- Thinner banking. None of the 2026 newcomers lists PayPal, Venmo or Play+, the fastest cashout methods at bigger NJ apps. See NJ casino payment methods for how each option compares.
- No Atlantic City perks. Operating under a Caesars license doesn’t earn you Caesars Rewards. For comps on hotel stays and dining, compare NJ casino loyalty programs.
- Young apps. Ember’s iPhone app had a 2.3 rating early on, while Vegas Club’s sat at 4.2. Our NJ casino apps guide tracks ratings across the market.
New casinos are still small. In August 2026, Betinia won $1,122,291 from players, Vegas Club $875,415 and Ember $591,981. FanDuel, the market leader, won $56.7 million that month.
How the DGE approves a new gambling site: partners and checks
No casino goes live in New Jersey without passing several checks:
- An Atlantic City partner. Online casinos must operate under one of the nine Atlantic City casino licensees. Each licensee can run up to five online casino brands, called “skins,” so the state has room for 45. That’s why Vegas Club, Ember and Betinia all list Caesars, and why Resorts World lists Ocean.
- Operator licensing. The company running the site applies for a casino service industry enterprise (CSIE) license. The DGE can approve its deal with the casino while that application is pending, but those approvals are time-limited and can be reconsidered at any time.
- Technical testing. The DGE’s Technical Services Bureau must approve every product submission, from the platform and its geolocation to each game, before it goes live. Every outcome has to come from a tested random number generator.
- Filed promotions. Welcome offer terms must be filed with the DGE at least five business days before launch and written in plain language.
- Monthly reporting. Once live, the brand’s revenue appears in the DGE’s monthly reports under its licensee.
That last step gives you a simple check. A legal NJ casino shows its DGE license and Atlantic City partner in its site footer, and its brand appears in DGE revenue reports. An offshore site that accepts New Jersey players does neither, and there’s no regulator to help if it doesn’t pay you. Our guide to NJ gambling law covers the rules in more detail.
Should you sign up at a new casino? Best as a second account
Usually as a second account, not your main one. A 1x lossback like Vegas Club’s carries little risk. But if you want a deep slot library, live dealer variety and same-day PayPal cashouts, the bigger apps still win. Our ranking of all NJ online casinos compares them, and slots players can see which lobbies are strongest in our NJ online slots guide.
Safety isn’t the trade-off. A DGE-licensed casino that launched last month is held to the same testing, audit and player-protection rules as one that launched in 2013.
