Resorts Casino Hotel, a Mohegan Sun Property, brought gaming to Atlantic City in 1978 as the first American casino outside of Nevada. With 21 prime ocean-front acres on the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk in North Beach, the casino resort features 942 guest rooms and suites in two historic hotel towers connected by 80,000 square feet of world-class casino action.
Resorts features two theaters, 10 restaurants, a food court with a variety of eateries, two VIP slots and table player lounges, two casino bars, indoor-outdoor swimming pools, a health club and spa, salon and retail shops. The 64,000 square feet of modern meeting space at Resorts includes 24 meeting and function rooms with ocean views and a 13,000 square-foot ballroom.
Winner of 19 Casino Player Magazine 2019 “Best of Gaming Awards,” Resorts Casino Hotel has undergone $125 million in renovations, including the all new state-of-the-art Resorts Conference Center, a large $25 million room renovation project and the $35 million Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville-themed entertainment complex with the only year-round beach bar, LandShark Bar & Grill, on the Atlantic City sand.
In 2018, Resorts welcomed DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts, where guests can enjoy live in-game and general sports betting from around the world.
Hotel/Spa
The Resorts Hotel offers 942 guest rooms and suites. At 525 square feet, they are the largest hotel rooms in Atlantic City. Stay in their Rendezvous Tower, offering the largest rooms on the boardwalk, or stay in their Ocean Tower and enjoy its proximity to the beach and boardwalk.
Amenities offered to guests include a pool, spa, salon, business center, access to the beach and boardwalk, multiple dining options that vary from something quick, to both casual and elegant eateries.
The new Resorts Conference Center provides over 64,000 square feet of space, featuring 24 meeting and event rooms, 14 of which will have natural light and ocean views. Their function space can accommodate between 10 and 1,350 guests. It includes 12,500 square feet of technologically advanced conference space in 12 new meeting rooms.
Resorts also offers four ballrooms for celebrations and all-inclusive wedding packages, including catering options.
Casino Area
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the Resorts Casino features more than 1,500 slot machines and all forms of table games in more than 80,000 square feet of casino space. There is video poker, reel slots and video slots. Hollywood Hills the Resorts’ premium slot area, features $1, $5, $10, $25 & $100 machines, an exclusive cage window, attentive staff and self-pay jackpots.
The Resorts Casino is known for its high limits. Table games offered include baccarat, blackjack, Blazing 7’s Progressive, Spanish 21, Texas Hold’Em Bonus, four card poker, craps, three card poker, Let It Ride and roulette and Asian games such as Pai Gow, Pai Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, Sic Bo and mini baccarat.
There are also electronic versions of these table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat and the Big Wheel.
Sportsbook Area
The DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts Casino Hotel features 5,000 square feet of action. There are ultra-high definition LED video walls, 18 betting kiosks, five betting windows, and a 15-foot video wall. As well, there’s a VIP seating area with food & bottle service.
The sportsbook provides an extensive list of sports betting odds available at a player’s fingertips. Players can view all odds live. There’s no need to rely on preprinted betting sheets. Betting kiosks are open 24/7. Hours for the sportsbook are Monday-Friday 11a.m.-11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9:30 a.m.-11 p.m.
