March Madness 2023 Betting Offers NJ

March Madness 2023 New Jersey betting preview, odds and promotions

Unlike its neighbor to the north, New Jersey bettors will be gearing up for their fourth season of March Madness (2020 tournament was canceled) 2023 as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament begins.

By now, most Garden State bettors have the cadence of the brackets down: chaos on the first Thursday and Friday with 16 games each day, then more of the same on the first Saturday and Sunday, with eight more contests on both days.

After those four days of carnage, 75 percent of the tournament is over: only 16 of the 64 teams that started play in the First Round–excluding the First Four games Tuesday and Wednesday–will be left to play on Thursday and Friday, March 23-24, in the Sweet 16.

From 16 games a day down to two in the Elite Eight, the tournament goes very quickly once the teams get on the court.

So, how do you wager on 2023 March Madness: Men’s NCAA tournament and what sportsbook promos can you claim in 2023? Here is our betting preview, prediction and free bet offers you need.

March Madness 2023 Betting Prediction

Once Selection Sunday happens on March 12, look to see which teams are one seeds in each of the four regions.

Here is our 2023 March Madness: Men’s NCAA tournament betting preview, pick and prediction.

In the past 17 tournaments, 13 of the winners have been a top seed, and all were from power conferences. The ACC has won seven of those 17 titles (UNC 3, Duke 2, Louisville and Virginia 1), one less than all the rest combined. In fact, the lone title in the last five decades that has been from a team outside the Power Five was UNLV in 1990, and that team had three future NBA players.

That bodes well for a team like Houston, which has made a Final Four and an Elite Eight in each of the past two seasons, and is looking to break through and win a first title. Also, watch out for Alabama, which is also looking to win a first title.

Do not discount the defending champions Kansas, but it is very hard to repeat: no team has done so since the 2006-2007 Florida squad. And watch out for the two Pac-12 teams, UCLA and Arizona.

Ultimately, I would take a shot on Alabama and UCLA.
